Selvinique Wright was born in New Providence. Her mother and her spiritual leader were a strong source of strength and guidance as she came to embrace God’s will and ultimately “walk by faith”.
In 2010 Selvinique fell in love with pageantry when she participated in Miss Teen Bahamas and although this catapulted her into a modeling career within the Caribbean, she has not lost sight of her ultimate goal of becoming a Police Officer. The young spokes-model can be seen at pet shows with her pup ‘Cadillac’ advocating for animal adoption. She plans to continue her studies in Psychology and Sociology while still mentoring young ladies who may be struggling with self discovery, purpose and hopefulness.
