Born in New Providence, Bahamas, Eldece Clarke has competed in the sport of track and field since 1979. As a medalist of the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games and the 1999 World Championships, Eldece assisted in paving the way for future generations of track stars. Though she is now a retired competitor, Eldece is actively involved with many noteworthy civic clubs and boards, namely Rotary Nassau Sunrise, P.A.C.E. Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, National Sports Authority, IAAF World Relays LOC Board and the Anti Doping Commission Board. Eldece Clarke shares her many accomplishments with her friend and partner, Harry, and is the proud mother of one son, D’Ldron.
Kedar Clarke has been working as a fashion stylist with some of the country’s most high powered individuals and companies for nearly 10 years. Since his start in the industry professionally in 2008, Kedar has worked with over 200 local and international entities as their key wardrobe stylist. Kedar continues to specialize in image consultations, style reviews, wardrobe edits, personal shopping, special event styling and most notably as a wardrobe stylist, where he utilizes his skills and expertise in selecting and designing clothing for published editorial features, print and television ad campaigns, music videos, concert performances and public appearances made by his exclusive client list of public figures.
Paola Gaviria was born in Colombia, South America and has a masters degree in marketing and advertising. Paola served as Miss California from 1993 to 1994 and participated in and hosted international beauty pageants where she gained a credible reputation. Though she is Columbian, she is also a Swiss citizen and speaks French, Spanish and English. Paola moved to the Bahamas six years ago and she feels very lucky to call Nassau her home. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters.
Kate Rose was the British Champion in sports acrobatics gymnastics from 1990 to 1992, as well as the 1992 European Cup Champion. She previously worked for the European Commission in Brussels and IMG sports agency, where she met her husband, Justin.
Kate has been a PGA TOUR wife for over 10 years, and after traveling around, Kate, Justin and their two children have happily settled in Albany, the Bahamas. She has a keen interest in interior design and was able to design her dream home here. Kate also oversees all of the Rose family business interests and runs the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation.
Antonius Roberts is the co-founder of Junior Junkanoo and is a College of The Bahamas lecturer. Antonius, with an invitation from Governor Sir William Allen, developed the guidelines for the Central Bank of The Bahamas annual art exhibitions and competitions and serves as the founding curator. Antonius currently owns an art gallery that has been transformed into an outstanding example of reclamation and preservation of historical sites in downtown Nassau, The Bahamas.
